Chris's Du-athlon

Chris has gotten into biking in the last few years and he decided to do this race with some of our friends. It was a run 2 miles and then bike 13 and then run 3 miles. He did really well and finished about 1:18. I was very impressed. I often wonder what it would be like to be such an natural athlete. Here we all are the athlete and his cheering squad.
Here are the kids killing time, playing jungle in some tall grass, waiting for the bikers to come in.

There are a lot of monkeys in the jungle.

Here is Chis with our friends that also did the race. My friend Jocelyn was mad that she didn't quite catch the guys. The funny thing is that she was really close and on some other day she really could. Once again I'm wondering what would it be like?

Run honey run. I love seeing that man run and believe me it does not happen very often.

Cute kids

My mom is into photography and took many pictures of the kids while she was here. This is just a few of my favorites.

Laura looses teeth and rides a bike

While on vacation last week Chris taught Laura to ride her bike without training wheels. We just bought her a bigger bike at a garage sale and she was eager to learn to ride it. She still needs work getting on and off but she will have it down this summer I'm sure.
A week ago laura lost her first tooth. Yesterday she lost another one. They were both loose for quite awhile now and they finally fell out. I was a little surprised how early she lost her first teeth. I had someone ask me if her teeth came in early and that is the funny thing her teeth came in really late. She was 12 months before her teeth started coming in. The tooth fairy has come twice now and that has been really exciting. She keeps checking to make sure she doesn't have any more loose. It is amazing how fast they grow up and it is also amazing how fun it is to watch. Laura gets all the excitment being the oldest. All her fist moments our our first moments as parents. We still appreciate the others sucesses and celebrate but I'm sure i won't be quite so amazed when Aaron's fist tooth falls out.
