Easter Weekend

Easter Weekend was especially fun this year because we had Chris's mom and sister here with us. It was so fun having them here. Chris's sister Kathryn and his mom played and played with the kids. Family is wondeful! Chris also had the weekend off so thing couldn't get much better. This month he is on night float so the weeks are really long but I know I have a the weekend to look forward too. On Saturday of Easter weekend we went to Hawking Hill State park. It had a fun cave we hiked to and a waterfall. They were both kid friendly hikes which was also nice. We do miss a good long hike these days now that we are past the back pack stage but it is still fun to go even if it is really short hiking.
Coloring Easter eggs gets more fun each year as the kids get older. We had a great time decorating them this year we bought a sparkly egg kit and that was a big hit.

Our ward had an egg hunt that we went too. It was cold and wet but that is a typical egg hunt so I would say it was a success.

This is inside the cave at Hawking Hills. The kids had a lot of fun climbing around inside.

Laura and her Aunt Kathryn who she misses very much!(and so do I)

I am sucker for waterfalls. This is a really nice one.

They could have stayed and thrown rocks all day if we had let them.

Steven's 4th Birthday

Steven had a great 4th birthday. He picked a race cake and we had a fun time decorating it. I used to work hard at making them really cute but now that the kids are older it has become one of their favorite things to help with the decorating. So now the birthday cakes are still cute with but with the kids magic touch.
Steven wasn't content with just two cars on his cake he went downstairs and got as many cars as would fit on the cake

Let the race begin! It looks more like a bumper car ride now then a race track but the birthday boys is happy.

About a 25 minute drive from our house there is a playground inside a huge church that is free to the public. We went there and the kids played on the playground and also got to play air hockey and go on the little car ride.

Aaron also get to play at this playground. They have a room just for babies.
