Aaron was born on Wednesday February 27th at 12:23 a.m. He weighed in at 7lbs 7oz and he was 20 inches long. I went into labor early Tuesday morning. By early afternoon we were ready to go to the hospital. Laura and Steven got to go over to our friends the Thompson for the rest of the day. Then they got to sleep over at our friends the Bowman's. They had a lot of fun and it was such a relief for us to know that they were well taken care of. We feel very blessed to have such wonderful friends. After laboring all day at 11:30 p.m. they decided it was time for a c-section. I was really disappointed but happy to have a healthy baby. I am doing really well and I have recovered really quickly. Little Aaron is growing and doing well and we all love him very much and are so happy he has come to our family.
Here we all are at 3 in the morning. We were very happy with the results of our long ordeal.

Laura loved holding her new baby brother. She held him for a long time. She was very excited when we finally got to bring him home.
Steven also loved holding his baby brother. He didn't have quite the attention span for baby holding as Laura did but he was very happy to be an older brother.

He is so sweet! I love how he is drowning in all his clothes, what a cutie!
He is another beautiful Hanks baby and definitely looks like you guys! I am glad you are feeling good and recovering well. Maybe we can come down and meet Aaron before you move- Congrats again on your happy Match news and happy baby!
